GWI (formerly GlobalWebIndex) is a target audience company that provides consumer insight across 46 countries to the world’s leading brands, communication agencies and media organizations. The company runs a global survey representing more than 2 billion connected consumers, which offers up over 40,000 data points on the behaviors and perceptions of internet users around the world. Using the subscription-based platform, clients including Twitter, Google, Spotify, WPP, IPG and Omnicom Group can gather in-depth insights into audience behaviors, attitudes and interests through a combination of survey data and analytics. Among a range of leading data products available alongside its flagship survey are its B2B data set, GWI Work, which analyzes professionals across 10 global markets, and its TV reach and frequency solution, which enables advertisers to target previously untapped audiences. Its newest data set launched in July 2020, GWI USA, responded to the increasing demand for more relevant and timely insight into the modern American consumer. Representing over 240 million people across all 50 states, the study tracks new and emerging trends not typically covered by traditional market research providers, including key questions around cultural identity, race and ethnicity.

AI has made the routine parts of marketing almost free — anyone can generate a campaign, a brief, an ad in seconds. What it can't hand you is judgement: knowing which decision is the right one, and why. That's the skill that still separates good marketers from the rest, and it's the one universities struggle to teach. Novela teaches it through simulation. Students step into realistic versions of platforms like Google Ads and Meta, run real campaigns for fictional brands, make decisions and live with the consequences — building judgement through practice instead of memorising theory. An AI copilot works alongside them, the way it will in their actual careers. And it's working. More than 50 universities use Novela today, including Columbia, Northwestern Kellogg, Oxford, Imperial and INSEAD. We're a two-founder company, profitable, and growing fast — and we're now hiring beyond the founders for the first time. The hard problems we're working on: how do you teach a skill that can only be built by doing? How do you make a simulation realistic enough that practitioners respect it and students genuinely learn from it? And how does a small team serve hundreds of professors around the world without losing the quality that got us here? If those are the kinds of problems you want to spend your time on, we'd like to meet you.

Base runs your business. It connects to the tools you already use, lets you control everything from a plain English command bar, watches your business in the background, and surfaces what needs attention before you have to ask. The morning after a product launch, every founder hits the same wall. They suddenly need a CRM, a way to send contracts, financial visibility, a hiring process, a marketing setup, and more. The default is to spend weeks sourcing, signing up and configuring multiple tools. Running each tool separately means constant context switching and no unified view of what is happening. Base solves all of that in one place by replacing the entire stack with a single workspace, operated by a plain English command bar, with a single source of truth. Base has five layers 1. Setup. Base guides founders to the right tools and connects them via a secure login in under a minute. The Foundations module walks founders through every one-time setup task: DNS records, Google Search Console, social profiles, SEO basics, and email deliverability. 2. Orchestration. A single plain English command bar controls every connected tool. Type what you need and Base routes it to the correct tool and executes it after you confirm. The founder never has to switch tabs. 3. Company brain. All data from every connected tool is unified in one place. The dashboard shows live runway, MRR, pipeline, and headcount. Ask how the business is doing and get one plain English answer across Finance, CRM, Analytics, and Email. 4. Memory. Base logs every action, command, and significant event permanently. Every contract sent, every hire made, every investor update sent. The full history is searchable. When a founder raises funding, Base generates the data room from its memory. 5. Intelligence. Base compares key metrics against industry benchmarks for founders at the same stage. Runway, MRR growth, churn rate, and pipeline coverage are all benchmarked and interpreted in plain English.

Scoutly is a casting operating system for agencies. We replace the mess of WhatsApp, emails, PDF decks and spreadsheets with one connected workflow: briefs, shortlists, holds, client approvals, bookings and invoice tracking. The goal is to give agencies a client-ready control room so decisions stay organized and nothing slips through the cracks.

HyperLegal builds agentic AI for the parts of legal work that never make it into the pitch deck: client onboarding, KYC, AML, source of funds, risk checks. It is unglamorous, and it is where mid-sized firms lose real money. A new matter can sit for days waiting on identity documents and bank statements while a partner chases them by email. Clients experience the firm's slowest process first. The platform does two things. The Onboarding Portal runs identity verification, AML and source-of-funds checks through agents operating under defined permissions, with a human in the loop wherever judgement is required. The Concierge layer sits in front of it, capturing client information before the first meeting and pointing people towards the right part of the firm. We are not replacing lawyers or compliance officers. We are giving them back the hours currently spent chasing documents and retyping data, and producing a cleaner audit trail than a manual process ever does. We are London-based, in private beta with UK law firms, including a live deployment at a Legal 500 firm. The founding team combines enterprise AI delivery at scale (Data & AI across a £400m portfolio at BT Group), legal practice, and Red Dot-winning product design. Our board and advisers include a former UBS Managing Director and a former BT Global Chief Strategy Officer. We are a small team and expect to stay that way for a while. People who join now shape the product, speak directly to clients, and see their work in front of real users within weeks. If you like regulated problems, ambiguous requirements and short feedback loops, you will recognise the work.
