THE PROMISE With ultrasound a doctor can see into the heart of someone in cardiac arrest or into the abdomen of a woman with an ectopic pregnancy, and save their lives. 75 years after its invention, ultrasound remains an indispensable tool for diagnosis and monitoring. THE PROBLEM 60% of the world lacks access to medical imaging because current technologies are unwieldy, expensive, and require extensive training. While doctors carry supercomputers in their pockets, they still rely on the 200-year old stethoscope as their primary diagnostic tool. THE SOLUTION Our mission is to democratize healthcare by making medical imaging accessible to everyone around the world. Butterfly Network has raised >$350M to develop and commercialize a handheld, smartphone-connected ultrasound probe powered by AI. We operate at the intersection of medicine, engineering, and machine learning to create breakthrough technology that becomes smarter with each new patient.

As population continues to age, there is a growing demand for motor rehabilitation services. The problem is that the way we address this growth or rehabilitation services (physical therapy) has not changed in thirty years because we are still heavily reliant on a one-to-one patient therapist interaction which is costly, non scalable, and difficult to ensure consistent quality. At SWORD Health, we saw the opportunity to take a truly disruptive and transformative approach to this problem by creating the first digital therapy solution that addresses the growing demand for therapy while reducing costs, empowering patients with their recovery to ultimately recover faster, and providing a rich source of data for clinical teams and decision makers. 50% of diabetes education programs are not profitable today. Lack of consistent referrals, confusion on billing processes, and resource constraints are the main drivers to why many diabetes education struggle. Palisaid's pEDIT is trying to make it easier for diabetes education programs to become financially successful, and manage the essential activities in one connected experience. pEDIT is a practice management solution that integrates within a clinic's EMR system. pEDIT is used by a diabetes educator during the entire patient visit, and guides the diabetes educator to the appropriate maximum reimbursement figure based upon the patients insurance status. pEDIT also makes it easy for a diabetes program to track program performance analytics essential for performance-based care initiatives, and compliance. Palisaid was founded by a patient living with diabetes, and team that all have been personally impacted by diabetes. We are taking a unique approach to our go-to-market focused on building a passionate team first to ensure we drive the best possible customer experience. Our current team brings over 50 years of diabetes education experience, EMR product development, and healthcare strategy with a proven advisory team supporting our growth. We are actively looking for capital to build pEDIT in order to pilot, and commercialize. If there is interest in learning more please reach out to [email protected].

We’re Doccla, the virtual ward company. We provide patients and clinicians with the transformative power of remote patient monitoring. Our customers are Hospital Trusts, Community Services and NHS Commissioners that we partner with to deliver virtual wards. With our support, patients can have their care stepped up from community services or be discharged from a hospital ward to a virtual one. Patients receive treatment in the comfort of their homes whilst health services become more efficient. Unsurprisingly, both the number of Trusts we work with and the number of patients we support are constantly growing. Doccla is a young company with big aims and a lot of momentum. We raised a $3.3m seed round in Q3 2021 and are continuing to grow. We're solving real problems for patients and health systems. And we’re looking for dedicated people with a passion for healthcare to join us.

We have established product-market fit, closed a $50M Series A in September 2023, and are now looking to scale our company tenfold in the next calendar year. We are a team on a mission to help our clients in the medical aesthetics industry transform their patients' lives. We know providers (including med spas, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, ect.) didn't go into business to focus on sales, so we make software that helps them grow their practices so they can focus on what matters most: their patients. The first-ever AI-driven wearable ultrasound technology that can be used at pharmacies, and even at homes for providing a connected diagnostics system focusing on critical injuries and diseases. The COVID-19 outbreak has spread its feathers of destruction around the globe with high infected caseloads and many fatalities. People with comorbidities are more prone to contracting COVID-19. Therefore, going to a hospital or clinic for treatment and diagnosis is not recommended for such people. To enable efficient care and quick diagnosis of patients with chronic illnesses, home diagnosis devices are a feasible option. PONS was born out of the necessity to solve a problem that was affecting our everyday life; we wanted to improve the experience of a connected health care system. PONS is focused to harness the integration of machine learning algorithms and rugged, portable ultrasound devices to develop an easy-to-use system that enables emergency responders to quickly assess the severity of a patient’s brain and spine injuries at accidents and in remote environments in which expert medical imaging personnel and advanced imaging equipment are not readily available. Our aim is to facilitate a rapid, precise, and safe pre-hospital diagnostics system, focusing on traumatic brain and spine injuries already on-site, in the ambulance, or at home before transportation to the hospital. PONS social responsibility for affordable health care for everyone stands as our top priority. The system is meant to be used by doctors who serve in difficult circumstances and geographies like 3rd World countries, villages, immigration centers. Doctors without borders, Red Cross, UN, are some of the target groups that we want to reach and provide a smart and affordable diagnostics tool that can be used to track and monitor brain, spine injuries are expensive and big systems can not be used.
