Wiza.co is a growing startup that provides a platform to help sales teams find and enrich their ideal prospects. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in our Toronto office. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying and qualifying potential customers who are a good fit for our product.
As an BDR, you will:
- Conduct research to identify potential customers and target accounts
- Reach out to potential customers through various channels (e.g. email, phone, social media) to generate interest and set up demos
- Qualify leads by asking targeted questions to understand their needs and determine if they are a good fit for our product
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads
- Use a CRM system to manage leads and track progress
What you bring to the table:
- 1 year of experience in business development or a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with potential customers
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
