We are looking to use automation and AI to match nontraditional candidates with contractors and then get them up the learning curve faster through a copilot and targeted training. Emerald is starting by filling the gap in heat pump installers, then will expand into EVs/batteries, wind, and solar workers as we scale. We piloted with one of the largest heat pump-focused contractors in the Northeast, which helped it generate $250K in new revenue, cut hiring time by 50%, and save $35K in recruiting costs. Emerald will serve companies, unions, and community colleges as a B2B partner. We received funding from the state energy agencies in NY and MA and were selected to participate in Techstars, Venture for ClimateTech and Village Capital accelerators.
