About the job

About Bluroot

Bluroot is the #1 FinTech CRM (customer relationship management) company in Canada. We have 2 products: BluMortgage, a CRM for mortgage brokers and Cloven, a CRM for financial advisors.

With the emergence of direct-to-consumer brands like Nesto and WealthSimple, mortgage brokers and financial advisors can no longer compete on access-to-product. Instead, both segments are pivoting to become their client's trusted advisor. To achieve this at scale, good data integrity and automated processes are a necessity.

Bluroot is one of Canada's fastest growing companies according to the Globe and Mail's 2024 list.

On a day-to-day basis, the Bluroot team works to:

  1. Educate prospects how our products improve their business (Sales & Marketing)
  2. Help clients achieve business success with our products (Customer Success)
  3. Expand our products' capabilities to drive more value (Engineering)

  • Team Over Everything: We like to think of ourselves as a pro sports team. We want to win our championship, and it's everyone's responsibility to help get us there.
  • No Waste: Re-work drains the team's time and morale. Avoid it.
  • Just Do It: Don't get lost in perfection. It's not worth it. Identify the part of work that can be done with No Waste (no matter how small) and Just Do It.
  • Keep Your Head Down: After a loss, we don't make excuses, but embrace Win or Learn. After a win- we're back in the gym the next morning.
