Job Purpose
The Head of Revenue Operations will lead, optimize, and scale the operations that support the companys revenue-generating teams. This key leadership role will focus on aligning the sales, marketing, and customer success functions to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring data-driven insights to strategic decision-making, drive process improvements, and ensure alignment across all teams responsible for revenue generation.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
Strategic Leadership:

  • Align Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Cross-functional collaboration to ensure a unified approach to the customer lifecycle, from lead generation to revenue retention and expansion.
  • Revenue Forecasting and Analytics: Lead the development and execution of revenue forecasting, planning, and analysis across the organization.
  • Optimize Tech Stack: Oversee the design and implementation of the revenue technology stack, ensuring the smooth integration of CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and customer success platforms.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to identify revenue opportunities, optimize sales processes, and inform leadership on trends and strategic decision-making.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine operational processes for sales, marketing, and customer success teams to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure accountability.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop tools, resources, and training programs that enable sales teams to improve productivity and close deals faster.
  • Pipeline Management: Ensure consistent tracking, reporting, and forecasting of the sales pipeline, helping leadership teams to maintain clear visibility of performance and progress.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and customer success teams to optimize lead handoff, customer onboarding, and the overall client experience.

Team Leadership:

  • Talent Development: Mentor and coach team members, ensuring continuous professional development and growth.
  • Ensure GTM has tight interlock with new processes leveraging playbooks and enablement

Performance and Metrics:

  • KPI Management: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure the business is meeting its growth and revenue targets.
  • Incentive and Compensation Models: Develop and oversee compensation plans and incentive structures to drive desired sales behaviors and outcomes.
  • Customer Retention and Growth: Support strategies to increase customer retention and expand opportunities for revenue growth through cross-sell and upsell initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of building and managing revenue operations teams.
  • Revenue Operations Expertise: Deep understanding of sales processes, marketing automation, customer success operations, and revenue forecasting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with experience in developing insights from complex data sets. Proficient in CRM and data analysis tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Power BI).
  • Process-Oriented:** Strong background in process design and implementation, with a focus on operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Tech Stack Knowledge: Familiarity with sales, marketing, and customer success technology tools and systems, with the ability to optimize and integrate them.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance, and customer success to align strategies and drive results.
  • Problem-Solving: Innovative thinker with the ability to identify roadblocks and propose solutions that drive growth and operational improvement.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
