Category Manager-Food & Beverages

Summary:
We are seeking a driven Category Manager to join our team and lead our Food & Beverage (F&B) category expansion. You will leverage your expertise and existing brand relationships to drive growth through strategic brand acquisition for our retail distribution or warehousing and logistics services.

Responsibilities:
• Brand Acquisition Strategy:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to acquire new F&B brands for our retail distribution or warehousing and logistics network.
o Leverage your established relationships with F&B brands gained from your marketplace experience.
o Identify high-potential F&B brands with strong market presence and product quality alignment.
o Conduct in-depth brand analysis to assess suitability for our distribution or logistics solutions.

• Negotiation & Onboarding:
o Lead negotiations with F&B brands to secure favourable distribution or warehousing and logistics agreements.
o Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for acquired brands, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with new brand partners.

• Category Management & Optimization:

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations) to integrate acquired brands seamlessly into our distribution or logistics network.
o Analyze F&B category performance data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
o Develop data-driven strategies to optimize product pricing, promotions, and distribution or logistics processes for acquired brands.
o Ensure efficient and timely delivery of F&B products through our distribution or logistics network.

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience in category management, preferably with a marketplace-Amazon, Flipkart etc
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant analytics tools.
