We're working on creating futuristic clothing. Clothes will be highly technological in the future, they will allow biomarker monitoring and be a key part of a healthier society. We're looking for people with a background in relevant areas to join. These areas are hardware (electronics, robotics, sensors, …), software (full-stack) and fashion. We’re still at an early stage and working on building the team required to make this happen. The next steps will be securing funding and creating a prototype. For the time being, the work will be remote; but as soon as possible, we will move into an office together. The company will be incorporated in Boston, MA, once funding is secure. We're looking for creative maniacs, people who use their skills to create new, awesome products and want to change the world. Because if we execute right, we will. The cross section of technology and clothing has been researched for some time now, but the technology is now slowly getting to a mature point. This allows for simple early-stage applications as well as room for development in the future. Pine will become the leading company for technological, everyday clothing. Irradia is developing a sub-critical test reactor to provide the advanced nuclear industry with the testing and qualification facilities necessary for commercialisation. Our subcritical approach will allow us to save significant cost on plant development, licensing, and construction. To achieve this we have partnered with SHINE Technologies to use their best in class neutron source as an external neutron driver. Irradia is currently performing a feasibility study in collaboration with the SHINE technical staff to determine the optimal reactor core configuration using a SHINE neutron source to create an adequate neutron flux for irradiation services.
