For over a decade the underlying technology was nurtured in the national laboratory system until they achieved a functional benchtop demonstration. Bright Silicon Technologies was established in 2020 to transform the laboratory bench demonstration of the LDA into a commercial unit and develop products utilizing this revolutionary technology.
