The model came out of SUNLAB at the University of Ottawa, with more than a decade of research behind it. It runs across the asset lifecycle: - Design — terrain-aware 3D modelling to establish a realistic performance baseline before anything is built. - Construction — analysis from the moment equipment comes online, so issues surface before commercial operation rather than years into it. - Operations — minutely, string-level analysis with automated root-cause loss detection, separating recoverable losses from the ones that aren't and routing the fixable ones into the maintenance system.
