Top Advanced Materials Startups in 2027

Asgard Aerospace is building a coordinated industrial network that expands U.S. aerospace and defense manufacturing capacity. The company operates an advanced manufacturing and integration facility in Austin, Texas, and pairs this physical capability with Launchbelt, a secure digital platform that connects fragmented suppliers into a unified production ecosystem. Launchbelt provides a defense-aligned digital thread for travelers, traceability, QA, and compliance, with intelligent routing that evaluates capability, capacity, and performance across thousands of facilities. This creates predictable, high-reliability throughput for space, defense, aviation, UAS, and eVTOL programs. Asgard’s Command Forge facility serves as the anchor node of the network. It delivers composites, machining, harnessing, and integrated assembly with AS9100D and ITAR/CUI infrastructure, and it validates Launchbelt workflows through live production cycles. Each Forge is a replicable model that strengthens national aerospace capacity and supports program-level certainty for government and commercial partners. Asgard establishes a new category in the industrial base: a defense-aligned manufacturing network that synchronizes the operations of many facilities through a combined physical and digital platform. The result is faster onboarding, reduced coordination friction, higher quality, and an industrial system built for modern aerospace scale.
