Paladin is a full-stack, autonomous drone deployment solution for emergencies, giving first responders a live overhead view before they arrive on scene. By sending a drone to the scene first, we're able to help first responders increase situational awareness and decrease response time, helping save lives. We've already responded to over 1800 emergencies, have been approved for the first BVLOS waiver in restricted airspace, and are launching several new programs including one with the biggest drone police department in the country.

In the professional market, drones are used to gather aerial data of assets. Multicopters like the DJI Phantom are widely used. However, they can map only small areas in a single flight because they are inefficient in forward flight. Therefore large areas are mapped by fixed-wing drones. These systems have to be operated by highly skilled people. They need lots of open space for take-off and landing. Fixed-wing systems need substantial time for setting up. Because of the shortcomings of fixed wings and multirotors, data gathering of large areas has remained expensive.
