Job Overview:

As our Director of New Business, you’ll be the key to unlocking strategic partnerships that take Parallel to the next level. Your experience in technology consulting and your deep knowledge of the North American market will guide you in building meaningful connections that generate revenue and move the needle.

Working closely with our Design and Research teams, you'll identify key opportunities, negotiate impactful agreements, and foster strong relationships that deliver meaningful results. This role is ideal for someone with experience in technology consulting sales and a deep understanding of the North American market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Architect: Shape and implement our lead generation strategy, creating opportunities with top-tier clients through strategic partnerships.

  • Outbound Odyssey: You’re not into cold calls, and neither are we. Instead, you’ll be making it rain by building high-value relationships with decision-makers at top-tier companies. Think strategic, not transactional.

  • Make an Impact: We’re all about working smarter, not harder. You’ll focus on quality, not quantity, ensuring each deal you close is a game-changer.

  • Design-Driven: A deep passion for design is essential. You understand the power of design innovation and the value of impactful visual experiences that resonate with audiences.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or a related role, preferably within the technology consulting or design space.

  • Proven track record in developing and executing partnership strategies that drive revenue growth and business success.

  • Experience closing deals with ticket sizes of USD 75-100k

  • Experience in the North American market, with strong knowledge of the industry landscape.

  • Excellent negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to structure and close complex partnership deals.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Have an eye for good design

CTC: 30 to 45 LPA based on overall experience
