About the job

Two Sharpe Consulting is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Managing Director to drive our alternative data solutions business in the US. This remote position offers an excellent commission-based compensation structure and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships in the hedge fund industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our alternative data services to hedge funds, banks, and high-frequency trading firms
Cultivate and maintain relationships with hedge fund portfolio managers and owners
Educate potential clients on the value of our Growth of Internet Activity (GIA) ranking system and its applications in alpha generation
Achieve and exceed sales targets by securing new subscriptions and renewals
Collaborate with the leadership team to refine our product offerings and pricing strategies
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market trends
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus (not required)
2+ years of experience in financial services business development, marketing or sales
Understanding of hedge fund operations, investment strategies, and the role of alternative data in decision-making
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to sophisticated clients
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close high-value deals
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive commission structure: 50% of sales revenue => unlimited income
Recurring commissions on client subscriptions for the duration of their engagement
