In this exciting role, you’ll be "on the front lines" performing both outbound and inbound market development and buyer prospect engagement for a diverse portfolio of Sellerant’s B2B launch and scale stage startup company clients.
For launch stage startups you'll focus on problem-solution alignment and product-market fit consultative discovery and opportunity development conversations. Your success will be measured by the value and accuracy of the feedback you'll capture from early adopter customer prospects, and your ability to create win-win business opportunities for early stage startups and their early adopter customers. Your results will help startups 'nail the problem' their solution solves, price it right, validate their target market, and develop revenue opportunites ranging from paid pilot and proof-of-concept projects to early customer new sales wins.
For scaling startups, you'll perform target account research, lead generation and new business development activities with customer prospects who are both influencers and purchasing decision-makers, creating new sales opportunities across a diverse portfolio of innovative markets, products, solutions and disruptive technologies.
You'll thrive in this role if you're a naturally intuitive, curious, resourceful, and articulate communicator with superlative situational awareness skills and an engaging demeanor. Our ideal candidate:
- is either a recent college grad or up to a year at most of marketing or sales development experience for a tech company
- has a large, growing and active LinkedIn connection network
- can explain in our first conversation what Sellerant does, who we do it for, and why it's great (this is your opportunity to show off your target company research and critical thinking skills!)
- is highly motivated, hungry to learn, self-managed, and extremely attentive to details
- has the discipline, comitment, and attitude to consistently deliver results in a day-to-day environment that’s both creatively dynamic and procedurally structured
- is already a whiz (or is willing to put in the time to become one...) with B2B apps and tools to find information. Think Google search guru, with a side of sales CRM and marketing automation platforms like HubSpot sprinkled on top. AI and data-powered app user is a huge plus (i.e. chatGPT...).
This is a hybrid, 90% remote home office-based role with 2-3 workdays per month in our Round Rock, Texas offices. Compensation includes competitive base salary plus performance bonuses, 100% company paid health and dental benefits, unlimited PTO, and a 4-week paid vacation every 3 years of continuous employment.
