Nector is a rewards and loyalty solution provider for ecommerce businesses. The platform helps improve repeat purchase and conversion rates through discounts, coupons, and points. Nector provides a Shopify app for businesses running ecommerce stores on Shopify.

Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Technical Documentation Intern at Nector. You will be helping write documentation, tutorials, videos, etc. that will help the end users of nector get familiar with the platform, understand the various offerings and be able to configure it themselves.

Responibilities

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation, tutorials and videos that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides
• Create video tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the information architecture

Skills

• Must understand how the web works, HTML, Javascript, REST APIs.
• Experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Candidates pursuing or completed BE / BTech / MSc. / MCA Computer Science
