Junior Electrical Engineer

Key Accountabilities

• Works with application associates to implement new features and requirements for products.
• Drive new product ideas from design to prototyping. including – Schematics, Component selection, Testing and Validation (Rapid Prototyping).
• Work on electronics designs (analog and digital, mixed-signal, controls and power electronics) to develop innovative solutions with desired quality standards.
• Testing for design verification, system testing, resolution of on-field issues

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering background or relevant experience in Embedded or Analog systems design.
• Must have knowledge and skills - embedded hardware design - analog or mixed signal electronics, power electronics.
• Should have basic experience in the design and development of power electronics/drivers & digital electronics designs or microcontrollers, microprocessor and communication protocols-based circuits (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, USB).
• Desired working knowledge of embedded C, MATLAB, scripting language knowledge e.g. Python, Arduino
• Must have ability to interpret lab equipment’s test results – Oscilloscopes, power meter, functional generators, AC Power Supplies etc.
• Knowledge & experience of relevant simulation/PCB design tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of EMI / EMC certification, mitigation and environmental compliances – UL/IEC/ RoHS/REACH is a plus.
