SingleKey is aiming to revolutionise the rental experience by offering solutions for both large and small landlords, real estate agents and property managers to help offer modern solutions to the renting process.
Job Summary
SingleKey is looking to hire a new Sales Associate in Toronto, Ontario. As the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients, this role is critical to SingleKey’s brand and overall growth. In this role you will be responsible for building a relationship between yourself and the customer while also educating prospective customers on how SingleKey’s resources and tools can help them. While you will be working in a team, we are looking for an individual who is driven and can set and achieve their own goals. Within this role, there is a lot of responsibility so having the ability to multitask is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Making outbound sales calls to new and existing customers including: Residential Property Management Companies, Realty Brokerages, Leasing Offices and other potential partners.
- Effectively develop and manage your sales plan by setting daily / weekly / monthly goals and objectives, prioritizing tasks, utilizing your time effectively and efficiently, and taking full advantage of available resources.
- Responsible for researching and developing new lead lists.
- Establish relationships with customers and onboard new customers onto the SingleKey platform.
- Collaborate in a team setting to improve products and services.
- Be attentive to customer needs.
- Ability to be self-motivated and results driven.
Applicant Skills
- Preference towards someone with a university or college degree and at least 3 years of sales experience.
- Experience in lead generation, prospecting and outbound sales.
- Knowledge and competence in the major elements of inside sales including cold calling, business development, customer qualification, and customer acquisition.
- Previous real estate experience is an asset; preferrably in these roles: realty broker, insurance broker, leasing agent, or property magemer.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills to remain on track to meeting goals and expectations.
- Adaptability and patience when faced with a challenge.
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Hubspot is an asset.
- Self motivated and independent individual with strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Go-getter with an amazing work ethic who is competitive and driven to excel in challenging situations.
- Positive attitude and someone who can thrive in both a team work environment but can also achieve their goals independently.
