• You’ll lead a cross-functional team to design, build and grow products to support our business customers with their borrowing needs. You’ll do this by building a deep understanding of customer needs in this space, as well as understanding what is and isn’t possible from commercial, regulatory, operational and technical perspectives. You’ll use this to set a product strategy

• Taking overall responsibility for the financials of the US business including P&L and cash management
• Supporting with strategic investment decisions and commercial negotiations

• You have multiple years of experience in product data science, with 3 or more years working in Senior or Lead positions within Data Science or Analytics.
• You have had experience managing high performing senior teams of 8-10 people

• Implementing and managing the bank's risk management and control framework, ensuring that all business activities are aligned with the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
• Leading the 1LoD risk identification and materiality assessment across various business functions, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation strategies and controls are developed, implemented, tested and are effective.

• Apply your expertise in analytics and data science to build a comprehensive understanding of our customers through identifying their needs and behaviours to steer data driven product development.
• Lead and empower product teams to measure things that matter to improve our products and customer experience.

• Leading initiatives designing and implementing credit and pricing strategies for our business lending products
• Monitoring the performance of our existing strategies, and iterating to improve them

• Development of new models and approaches to identify and stop crime from happening on the platform.
• Accountability for reducing the amount of financial crime on Monzo. This is a board-level metric that is key to the success of our business.

• People Leadership: You will support and develop top-tier engineering talent while fostering an inclusive and productive team environment.
• Product Leadership: You will shape the product strategy alongside Product and Design to ensure it meets customer needs and drives business success. We operate as an empowered product team, so you’ll need to collaborate closely across functions to drive the success of our new credit product.
