Alexandria is a reading platform built around a simple observation: people read more than ever and remember less than ever. The average person forgets most of what they read within a week. Not because of a memory problem. Because the tools were designed for consumption, not understanding. Alexandria brings articles, podcasts, YouTube videos, books, and PDFs into a single library. It reads content aloud with synchronised word-by-word highlighting so you stay focused. Then it goes further. The platform automatically extracts key concepts from everything you consume, connects related ideas across different sources, and uses spaced repetition to bring knowledge back before you forget it. The project started as FlowRead, a Chrome extension that combined text-to-speech with real-time word highlighting. The founder, Elliott Tong, built it after struggling to read technical documentation post-workout and realising no tool on the market would read with him rather than just at him. The extension worked, but it revealed a deeper problem. Knowledge is scattered across dozens of apps and none of it connects. Read-it-later tools optimise for clearing backlogs. Note-taking apps become graveyards. AI chat tools give answers that vanish into conversation threads you never revisit. Alexandria is named after the ancient library because the mission is the same: one place where understanding can live, be accessed, and be built upon. It is designed for students, professionals, ADHD readers, and anyone who consumes knowledge across multiple formats and wants it to actually compound over time.

BSC Webdesign is a young web design agency based in Vienna, Austria. We are a team of three in our twenties, creating modern, individual websites for businesses across different industries. We combine design, development and strategic thinking to build websites that not only look good, but are clear, functional and tailored to each client. We work closely with our clients, think beyond the initial brief and care about the details that make a website feel complete. As our number of projects continues to grow, we are building a small network around our core team. We value long term relationships, reliability, independent thinking and straightforward communication. Our way of working is flexible and largely remote. We travel, work from different places and care much more about great results and a good relationship within the team than about where someone is sitting. We want BSC Webdesign to stay personal as we grow. That means working with people we trust, giving them responsibility over time and creating an environment where everyone can contribute ideas, improve their skills and enjoy working together.
