Polyaxon is an enterprise-grade platform for building, training, and monitoring large scale deep learning applications. We're building a Cloud Native Machine learning Automation Platform. We believe that all children should be given the chance to reach their full potential. However, more than 600 million children in the world do not achieve foundational skills like literacy and basic numeracy – despite the majority of them going to school. At EIDU, we are creating the next-generation ed-tech platform for children in low- and middle-income countries who do not have access to the high-quality education that all children deserve. Our platform distributes interactive learning content to students and teachers, optimises the content being delivered to the children based on their progress, and continuously measures their learning development. We currently serve 250,000 active students in low-cost private and public schools in Kenya, and we will scale nationwide by 2026. External researchers conducted a year long randomised control trial, midline results indicate that having EIDU in schools adds the equivalent of at least 0.8 years of learning development. EIDU is currently funded by well-known development agencies, foundations, and impact investors such as Founders Pledge, Share, BMZ (German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development), Google, and we are about to tap into the billion-dollar education market. The Arkive Solution: A Circular Learning System Problem The cosmetics industry today is creating waste, because it needs 'stock' to deliver on-demand to consumers, via the right markets and (physical) channels. Physical channels demand a good variation of products (skin tone, colors, sizes, taste) to make sure that products are of interest to a variety of individuals. The industry lives with complex supply chains, where we aren't able to track materials & products through their journey to a final destination. This has spurred the growth of grey markets and counterfeits and with products ending up as waste instead of being recycled or reused. Solution Arkive helps beauty brands to fight waste, track their inventory end-to-end, being able to sell their surplus inventory, and being able to recycle and reuse. We do this via a blockchain model because we also need to increase the sell-through rate and eliminate the growth of black markets.
