Problem
The cosmetics industry today is creating waste, because it needs 'stock' to deliver on-demand to consumers, via the right markets and (physical) channels. Physical channels demand a good variation of products (skin tone, colors, sizes, taste) to make sure that products are of interest to a variety of individuals.

The industry lives with complex supply chains, where we aren't able to track materials & products through their journey to a final destination. This has spurred the growth of grey markets and counterfeits and with products ending up as waste instead of being recycled or reused.

Solution
Arkive helps beauty brands to fight waste, track their inventory end-to-end, being able to sell their surplus inventory, and being able to recycle and reuse. We do this via a blockchain model because we also need to increase the sell-through rate and eliminate the growth of black markets.
