At Indigov, we have defined a new category of software, which is changing communication between elected officials and the people they serve. We are enabling democracy to scale effectively, and solving some of the largest pain points of elected officials and constituents. We’re Civic Roundtable – a mission-driven, venture-backed startup (seed led by General Catalyst) that makes government more effective and efficient through technology. We build tools for government workers on the frontlines of public problems that matter to all of us, from preventing homelessness in our communities to administering our elections. Our first product is a collaboration and knowledge sharing platform that saves government workers time and energy by connecting them to the people they trust most: their peers. In our first year alone, we have onboarded thousands of users and are off to the races powering problem-solvers across levels and functions of government.

Public is here to help technology startups transform public services, providing capital, networks, insight and support. The global govtech market is worth £320bn, but startups struggle to access it. Led by ex-deputy head of the No.10 policy unit, Daniel Korski, and venture investor, Alexander de Carvalho, Public’s team has operational experience of government, startups, technology and finance, to help startups do business successfully with the public sector. In March 2017, we launched applications to GovStart, a growth programme based in London to get startups ready for the public sector, and help them through the sales cycle.
