Orgadata / LogiKal Window Designer & Estimator

Remote | Full-Time | U.S. Business Hours (New York time, Monday–Friday)

About the Role

PrimaView, a custom window fabrication company serving residential projects across New York and New Jersey, is hiring a full-time, remote Orgadata/LogiKal Window Designer & Estimator. This is a technically demanding role requiring advanced, demonstrable proficiency in Orgadata/LogiKal. You will independently manage the technical design and estimation workflow — from interpreting architectural plans through LogiKal design, supplier documentation, takeoffs, estimation packaging, and shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural floor plans, elevations, schedules, and sections
• Prepare window takeoffs from architectural drawings
• Design custom aluminum window systems in Orgadata LogiKal (positions and cross-sections)
• Generate and export LOB files for supplier pricing
• Coordinate with suppliers on technical requirements
• Prepare complete estimation and pricing packages
• Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings in AutoCAD
• Identify design inconsistencies before fabrication
• Communicate clearly with U.S.-based clients, suppliers, and internal teams

Requirements

• Advanced, hands-on Orgadata LogiKal proficiency (mandatory)
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency for shop drawings (mandatory)
• Aluminum window system knowledge: profiles, glazing, hardware, configurations
• Aluprof or comparable aluminum window system experience
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings (elevations, sections, schedules, details)
• Demonstrated experience with takeoffs, estimation, and supplier documentation
• Portfolio of actual LogiKal work (window positions, cross-sections, LOB files, shop drawings, estimation/takeoff examples)
• Strong written and spoken English
• Full-time availability during New York/U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

• Direct experience with Aluprof window systems
• U.S. residential construction project experience (New York/New Jersey)
• Revit proficiency for BIM coordination
• Advanced shop drawing experience
• Experience with window manufacturers, fabricators, or aluminum system suppliers
• Knowledge of U.S. architectural and construction documentation standards
• Custom residential window fabrication project experience
