Co-founder – Technology & Engineering | Equity Only

I’m building Whitebrinjal, an enterprise high tech market network focused on the journey from technology discovery to enterprise adoption.

I’m looking for a co-founder to take ownership of technology and platform execution and take Whitebrinjal from its current product foundation to a working MVP and beyond.

This is a founder level opportunity, not a CTO-for-hire role, engineering management role, fractional position or technology advisory role.

Whitebrinjal is currently pre MVP, pre revenue and pre institutional funding
There is no initial cash compensation. This is a full-time, equity-only founder opportunity

Where we are today
This is not a blank-sheet idea.
We already have a substantial product foundation with 50+ product modules and flows, along with the frontend, product designs and core UX direction.
The immediate mission is to take what exists and turn it into a robust, working MVP.
You will own the backend, system architecture, APIs, data layer, integrations, infrastructure, security and the technical decisions required to make the product real and scalable.

What you will own
MVP → Platform
Take the existing frontend and product foundation through backend completion, integration, deployment and MVP launch.
Architecture
Define the technical architecture and make the right tradeoffs between speed, quality, scalability and maintainability.
Backend & APIs
Build the services, business logic, APIs, workflows, integrations and data layer behind the product.
AI & Intelligence
Determine where AI, ML, generative AI, matching, recommendation and agentic workflows can create genuine product leverage.
Cloud, Infrastructure & Security
Build the foundations for reliability, scalability, observability, identity, access control, data protection and enterprise readiness.
Engineering
Write and review critical code, establish engineering standards and eventually build the engineering team.

This is a builder role
I’m not looking for someone who only manages engineers.
At this stage, you will build.
You should be able to move from product problem → architecture → code → working system.
If something is missing, build it.
If something is wrong, fix it.
If something does not need to be built yet, say so.

Who I’m looking for
You may have come from a high growth technology company, product company, AI company, infrastructure company, enterprise software company, startup or have built your own products.
Experience at companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Apple, Adobe, Salesforce, Uber, Stripe, Atlassian, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Anthropic, Databricks, Flipkart, Razorpay, PhonePe, Freshworks, Postman, BrowserStack or another strong technology company can be relevant.
But pedigree matters less than what you have actually built.
I want someone who has shipped real products and can own technology end to end.
Someone strong in backend and system architecture.
Someone comfortable across full stack systems.
Someone who understands cloud, APIs, databases, distributed systems and security.
Someone who understands AI beyond simply calling an LLM API.
Someone who can work directly with a founder on product and technical decisions.
Someone who can eventually build and lead an exceptional engineering organisation.
A big company title is not enough. A long technology list is not enough. I need someone who can turn technical judgment into working product.

The founder risk
Whitebrinjal is pre revenue and pre funded.
There is no initial salary.
The opportunity is meaningful founder equity and the chance to build from an already developed product foundation.
This is not a side project or part-time advisory opportunity.
I’m looking for someone who can commit full time without initial salary and has the personal runway, conviction and appetite for uncertainty to make that decision responsibly.
You should be comfortable choosing ownership and long term upside over a conventional salary at this stage.
The exact equity structure will depend on the person, commitment and scope of responsibility.

Why Whitebrinjal
Enterprise technology adoption is fragmented.
The buyer may not know what to ask. Stakeholders may not be aligned. Technology may not be properly evaluated. The business case may not be clear. Procurement may not know how to structure the engagement.
Whitebrinjal is building the network around how enterprise technology gets discovered, evaluated, commercialized and ultimately adopted.
The long term opportunity is:
Market Network → Workflow → Intelligence → Enterprise Platform
The more the network grows, the more structured data it creates. The more intelligence the platform develops, the more valuable the network becomes.

The founder opportunity
I’m building the vision, product and market thesis.
The product foundation, frontend and design direction are already substantially developed.
I want a co-founder who will take the same level of ownership of technology, platform and engineering execution.
Your immediate mission is simple:
Complete the backend. Connect the system. Ship the MVP. Then build the platform
We are building from Gurugram. I care more about founder level commitment and getting important work done together than about where someone sits every day. Regular in person time will matter around major product, architecture and company building decisions.
