About the job

Company: Corvane
Location: Remote
Compensation: 100% Commission
OTE: $30,000–$60,000+ per year (Uncapped)

THE SOLUTION

Corvane is building the next generation of consumer intelligence.

Our AI-powered research platform helps consumer brands make better decisions by giving them fast access to reliable consumer feedback. Brands use Corvane to validate ideas, test messaging, recruit verified research participants, track brand perception, test concepts, and understand what consumers actually think.

Corvane helps companies move from question to consumer insight faster, without the time and complexity of traditional research processes.

Our customers span beauty, fashion, wellness, food & beverage, consumer technology, and agencies serving consumer brands.

We are customer-driven at our core and are looking for a Business Development Representative who can help us put Corvane in front of more businesses and consistently generate qualified sales meetings.

THE ROLE

As a Business Development Representative at Corvane, your primary goal is simple:

Book qualified meetings for our Account Executive.

You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, reaching the right decision-makers, starting conversations, qualifying interest, and getting qualified prospects onto the AE's calendar.

This is a hands-on outbound role. A significant part of your day will involve cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn outreach, prospect research, and persistent follow-up.

You will build targeted prospect lists, identify decision-makers, run outbound sequences, make calls, send personalized emails, follow up across channels, qualify prospects, and schedule meetings.

Once a prospect is qualified and interested, your job is to make the handoff to the AE as seamless as possible.

You will work closely with the founder and Account Executive to refine our ICP, messaging, outreach strategy, qualification criteria, and meeting-generation process.

This is an early-stage role for someone who enjoys the hunt, is comfortable with rejection, and is motivated by measurable results.

YOUR PRIMARY GOAL

Your primary KPI is qualified meetings booked on the Account Executive's calendar.

You will be measured on:

Qualified meetings booked
Meetings that actually take place
Qualified opportunities generated
Outbound activity
Prospect-to-meeting conversion
Pipeline generated from your meetings

You are not expected to close the deals yourself.

Your job is to create conversations and turn those conversations into qualified meetings for the AE.

WHAT YOU'LL SELL

You will introduce prospects to Corvane's consumer intelligence and research solutions, including:

Consumer research engagements
AI-powered research platform subscriptions
Verified respondent recruitment
Brand tracking
Concept testing
Pricing research
Packaging and messaging validation
Enterprise research programs

Opportunities range from one-off research engagements to recurring enterprise contracts.

Enterprise contracts start at $21,000 annually, with larger opportunities available depending on customer needs, research scope, usage, and expansion potential.

Your role is not to sell the entire solution or negotiate the contract. Your role is to create enough interest to earn the meeting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Build targeted lists of companies that fit Corvane's ICP.
Research companies, decision-makers, and relevant business initiatives.
Identify founders, CEOs, CMOs, Heads of Marketing, Consumer Insights leaders, Brand leaders, Product leaders, and agency executives.
Find the right person to contact within each account.
Maintain organized prospect lists and outbound sequences.
Continuously identify new prospects and opportunities.
Cold Outreach
Make consistent daily cold calls.
Conduct personalized cold email outreach.
Prospect through LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
Follow up persistently across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Test different messaging, subject lines, hooks, and CTAs.
Start conversations with prospects who have never interacted with Corvane.
Clearly communicate what Corvane does and why it may be relevant to the prospect.

Engage prospects who respond to outbound outreach.
Ask thoughtful questions to determine whether there is a potential business need.
Identify whether the prospect is a good fit for Corvane.
Understand their current approach to consumer research and insights.
Identify relevant pain points, upcoming initiatives, or research needs.
Qualify prospects against agreed-upon criteria.
Book qualified meetings directly onto the Account Executive's calendar.
Provide the AE with useful context before each meeting.
Confirm meetings and reduce no-shows through appropriate follow-up.
Follow up with prospects who do not immediately book.
AE Handoff

Once a prospect agrees to meet, you will:

Schedule the meeting directly on the AE's calendar.
Capture relevant prospect information in the CRM.
Document the reason for the meeting.
Include key pain points, research needs, company information, and other relevant context.
Ensure the AE understands why the prospect agreed to meet.
Continue supporting the opportunity with follow-up when appropriate.
Sales Development Operations
Maintain accurate CRM records.
Track calls, emails, responses, meetings, and conversion rates.
Report weekly on outbound activity and meeting generation.
Test and improve prospecting strategies.
Share prospect feedback with the founder and AE.
Help refine our ICP, messaging, qualification criteria, and outbound process.
Contribute to building a repeatable outbound sales engine.
IDEAL CUSTOMERS

You'll primarily prospect:

You'll typically reach out to:

Founders and CEOs

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

This role is for a hunter.

You should be motivated by the number on the calendar.

If you get excited when a prospect finally responds to an email, picks up a cold call, or agrees to meet, you'll probably enjoy this role.

If you're looking for a traditional sales role where leads are handed to you, this isn't it.

If you're competitive, persistent, commercially minded, highly articulate in English, and excited by the opportunity to earn based on performance, we'd like to hear from you.
