What you'll own

You will own experiences used by thousands of merchants every day, from merchant dashboards and analytics to customer portals and product widgets. You will:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance UI components across Recurpay product and Shopify widgets.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate ideas and wireframes into smooth, production-ready features.
• Challenge requirements instead of blindly implementing them.
• Integrate with backend APIs and ensure efficient data flows.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
• Create reusable systems, not one-off solutions. Obsess over performance, edge cases, and delightful UX.
• Push the team forward through better engineering practices and thoughtful reviews.

Technical Expectations

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, React, HTML and CSS.
• 2-3 years of experience in SaaS, building modern frontend applications.
• Ability to consume and work with APIs efficiently.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templates and Storefront APIs
• Understanding of browser performance and responsive design.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
