Frontend Developer (React)

MediaMelon is a video analytics and observability platform used by streaming platforms and media companies worldwide. Our products help engineering teams monitor video quality, diagnose playback issues, and optimize user experience across devices and networks.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with 2–3 years of experience who enjoys building high-quality product interfaces and solving real product problems. You will work closely with backend engineers and product teams to build responsive, performant dashboards and user interfaces used by engineering teams globally.

Role Responsibilities

• Build modern frontend applications using React 18+
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable UI components
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
• Work on data-heavy dashboards and analytics interfaces
• Manage application state and optimize performance where required
• Implement and maintain UI testing frameworks
• Debug complex UI issues and improve overall product reliability
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to ship features quickly

Key Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience building frontend applications
• Strong experience with React 18+
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience integrating frontend with REST APIs
• Understanding of state management patterns
• Familiarity with Node.js for API integrations or backend interaction
• Experience writing testable frontend code and working with testing frameworks
• Strong debugging skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vite or modern React tooling
• Experience building analytics dashboards or data visualization interfaces
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization
• Exposure to Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or React Testing Library
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
