About the job

Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Analyst

*At MAJORITY, we’re building a world where ambition knows no borders and where financial success follows you wherever life takes you. We’ve built a mobile banking platform for ambitious global citizens navigating life across borders that offers a smarter, more accessible financial membership designed to help people manage and grow their money, wherever they’re from and wherever they’re going. *

We’re a global team of 30+ nationalities, working with purpose and building for impact. If you’re excited by big challenges and bold ideas, and want to help shape the future of international banking, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:

MAJORITY is looking for a disciplined, curious, and analytical individual early in their regulatory or compliance career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial products and a deep understanding of the complex regulatory frameworks that govern them, from within a fast-growing U.S. startup environment.

This role will be responsible for communicating with both internal stakeholders and representing MAJORITY in front of external regulators and international partners. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with sharp critical thinking skills who can take full ownership of business-critical projects and is excited to take on new challenges and get the opportunity to take on greater responsibility. This is an in-person position based out of our Miami office.

Role Responsibilities:

Licensing & Regulatory Support

  • Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of state money transmitter license applications, renewals, and amendments.
  • Gather, organize, and validate required materials including corporate records, financial information, policies, and background documentation.
  • Support filings through systems such as the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) and state regulator portals, where applicable.
  • Support audits and exams by coordinating document collection and responses to inquiries.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Product, and Operations teams to understand business activities and translate them into accurate regulatory submissions.
  • Ask questions to dig deeper and ensure licensing applications fully and accurately reflect products, services, and operational realities.

Regulatory Communication

  • Draft and coordinate responses to regulator inquiries under guidance from senior team members.
  • Track regulatory correspondence, requests, and deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Process & Knowledge Building

  • Maintain internal trackers, calendars, and documentation related to licensing status and regulatory obligations.
  • Help with developing internal processes, templates, and institutional knowledge around licensing workflows.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Regulatory operations, compliance, legal operations, or risk
    • Financial services, fintech, payments, banking, or regulated industries
    • Government, regulatory agencies, or professional services supporting regulated clients
  • Knowledge of regulatory filings, audits, or structured documentation processes.
  • Experience with money transmitter licensing is a significant plus.
  • Strong critical thinking skills: able to connect dots between business activities and regulatory requirements.
  • Able to learn complex subject matter quickly and independently.
  • Intellectual curiosity about financial products, payments flows, and how regulated businesses operate.
  • Able to communicate with important stakeholders across levels, from junior team members to senior leaders and external regulators.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills: detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Able to quickly learn about regulatory frameworks and be able to apply them thoughtfully to evolving business models.
  • Educational Requirements: B.A./B.S. University degree.

If you’re interested in joining our mission as Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Analyst please apply by submitting your CV through the careers page on the MAJORITY website.
