About the roleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Technical Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years in the security domain, including extensive exposure to domestic markets and compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex security projects with a technical focus, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management : Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for technical security initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Technical Expertise: Collaborate with security architects, engineers, and stakeholders to drive the implementation of security solutions, identifying risks, and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
- Compliance & Regulations : Ensure projects meet international and local security compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, etc. Serve as a point of contact for auditors and regulatory bodies.
- International Market Expertise : Navigate the complexities of international security standards, data privacy laws, and regional cybersecurity requirements. Provide guidance on adapting security strategies to various global markets.
- Stakeholder Communication : Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and requirements to senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project objectives and timelines.
- Risk Management : Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, addressing both operational and technical security risks.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (e.g., IT, DevOps, Security Operations, Legal) and external vendors/partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Process Improvement : Continuously improve security project management processes, leveraging industry best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Required Qualifications
- Experience : Minimum 10 years in Security Project Management, with a solid background in delivering technical security projects.
- International Exposure : Experience managing projects in global markets, including familiarity with regional security requirements and cultural nuances.
- Compliance Expertise : In-depth knowledge of international security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
- Technical Background : Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, identity & access management, etc.).
- Project Management Skills : Demonstrated ability to lead multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, with experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Certifications : PMP, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex security issues into business terms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership : Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior project managers.
- Certifications : Additional certifications in specific compliance standards or technical security disciplines.
- Language Skills : Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
