Job Overview:

As the CTO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technological direction of our professional networking app, ensuring that it aligns with our strategic goals and delivers an exceptional user experience. You will lead a team of talented engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and business development, to transform our vision into reality. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in scaling our platform, optimizing performance, and driving innovation within the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the overall technology strategy, ensuring it supports our business objectives, long-term vision, and user needs.
• Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Product Development: Collaborate closely with product management and design teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure software development.
• Platform Architecture: Design and maintain the architecture of our professional networking app, making informed decisions on technologies, frameworks, and infrastructure to support scalability and performance.
• Team Management: Build and manage a talented engineering team, attracting top-notch talent, promoting professional growth, and creating a productive work environment.
• Technology Trends: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and exploring opportunities to leverage them for our platform's advancement.
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality software through effective testing and code review practices.
• Security and Data Privacy: Establish and enforce security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of user data.
• Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with stakeholders across different departments, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and contributing to overall company growth.
• Project Management: Oversee the timely and successful execution of engineering projects, managing priorities, resources, and budgets effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: Extensive experience (7+ years) in a senior leadership role, preferably as a CTO or a similar position, within a tech-focused company or startup environment.
• Entertainment Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the entertainment industry, including its unique challenges, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development, with expertise in web and mobile technologies, cloud computing, data management, and scalable architectures.
• Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, attracting top talent, promoting a culture of excellence, and driving high-performance results.
• Strategic Vision: Proven track record of developing and executing technology strategies that align with business goals and drive innovation.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile development methodologies and frameworks, promoting iterative and collaborative approaches to software development.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions to complex challenges.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
• Education: A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
