We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager cum Business Analyst with 4-5 years of experience in requirement management and leading software projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of software projects, from initial requirements gathering through to implementation and delivery. This role requires a unique combination of project management expertise and business analysis skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop project plans, including defining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Business Analysis:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
Conduct requirements analysis and validation.
Facilitate the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Requirement Management:
Elicit, analyze, and validate detailed requirements for the project.
Develop clear and detailed requirement specifications.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Ensure that all requirements are traceable, testable, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaboration and Communication:
Serve as a liaison between the business and technical teams.
Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
Facilitate and manage communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
4-5 years of experience in IT project management and business analysis.
Proven experience in managing software projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of requirement management processes.
Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Experience with various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
PMP, CBAP, or similar certification is a plus.
