Global HR Operations Partner - Part Time

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven and proactive HR Operations Partner to join the People Team in India to support APAC. This role is part-time - three days a week (24 hours) and will work primarily in our office in Bangalore. You will partner closely with the Sr. HR Operations Partners in EMEA and the US to support the local team and those in New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore. This role will bring to Fivetran knowledge of local HR practices and compliance and support local employees with many onsite in-person administrative HR tasks.

Please note that this is a part-time (24 hours per week) position, based out of our Bangalore office. Applicants must be located within a commutable distance to our office located at Indiqube Lakeside, 80/2, Outer Ring Rd, Green Glen Layout, Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka- 560103.

What You’ll Do

• Liaise with employees to facilitate answering Human Resources questions and directing them to the source for answering and ensuring follow-up is completed
• Provide support for all HR Ops tasks for APAC
• Maintain employee records
• Update Workday HRIS system for employee changes
• Assist with travel visas and employment immigration
• Onboarding and off-boarding of employees
• Assist with benefits enrollment
• Assist with payroll administration
• Absence Management
• Liaise with Workplace Ops for all Health and Safety programs
• Act as POSH Liazon
• Facilitate new hire sessions for introduction, benefits, and HR Ops onboarding
• Partner with business leaders to prepare for all-hands meetings related to HR questions

Skills We’re Looking For

• 2-5+ years of relevant career experience, preferably in HR or People Operations
• Experience supporting India, New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore based employees
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complicated HR matters for employees
• Knowledge of HR policies, local processes and laws
• Ability to work in a highly confidential and fast-paced environment
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Empathy, cultural sensitivity, emotional intelligence
• Experience working in Workday preferred
