Technical Cofounder for innovative fintech

This is by no means the final version of the product - think something could be better or a slightly different focus would work? Argue your case and we will build it.

I am looking for someone to be a true leader. You will wear many different hats as is typical of a start up at the start but ultimately you key function will be to lead the technical side of the business.

You will ideally have a good understanding in the technologies involved and crucially be able to explain why the product is built in any given way to non-tech staff.

I do not expect you to be an expert in everything, but you must be willing to learn/be able to supervise someone who knows more about an individual issue than you.

Preference for previous fintech experience but by no means essential. Strong preference for startup experience but frankly if you have the skills and keen for the product I can get by this. Startups are people businesses and I have been burned before by hiring the wrong people before. Founding team chemistry will be the most important.

At least to begin with the team will be remote first with a view to finding a permanent base when external funding is secured. This will be in the US. While I am currently UK based, I am not a fan of the unsettled business/tax environment and so will be crossing the pond to access the bigger market and deeper capital pools.

Please note that until a seed round is closed this is an equity only opportunity. I will therefore consider an exceptional candidate who wants to work on this part time (within reason) to maintain a salary.
