About Airhead Games:

Airhead Games aims to build a suite of multiplayer games that push the boundaries of social entertainment. We use generative AI and swarms of agents to create entertaining games with an infinite amount of content and variable styles. Games are limited today by the content their developers pre-create which is finite and constrained by human creativity and resources. In the age of AI, content can be generated dynamically based on player input and behavior, leading to endless scenarios and interactions and a more personalized, unpredictable, and immersive experience.

Progress:

• Preliminary plan documented and designs sketched
• Started building very basic version (with significant help from ChatGPT)
• Looking for co-founder!

My goal is to find someone to jam on this idea with for the next 2 months to see how much traction we can get. Best case scenario: we'll create something viral and start monetizing very quickly with minimal resources required. Worst case scenario: we'll have enjoyed building something fun and can turn it off, pivot, or keep it going as a side project.

Role Overview:

The Technical Co-Founder will lead the development and technical vision of Airhead Games. You’ll work alongside me to build and scale the platform and shape the future of our gaming suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all technical development, including AI workflows and backend/frontend game structure
• Implement real-time multiplayer functionality, billing system and authentication system
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance
• Collaborate on product strategy and user experience

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience
• 1+ year of tinkering/building with AI and staying up to date on the latest trends
• Systems-level thinker
• Works with urgency, grit, and integrity
• Aptitude for rapid learning and iteration
• Currently based in San Francisco and willing to work in person
• (Nice to have) Previous experience at early stage startups, gaming companies, or consumer subscription companies

Compensation:

• 50% equity
• Cash compensation during our 2-month validation of the concept will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We'll figure out what the right compensation structure is going forward if we're happy with the results of the validation period.
