and curiosity in kids fuels passion and purpose that lasts a lifetime. Kaidoo Kids is a brand launched by Kaireka Foods, an India based clean label food company. Our first product is Choco Comets— yummy chocolate filled energy balls with no added sugar that are vegan and gluten-free.
These stellar snacks are crafted to be really yummy for children and spark their imagination through funtastic activities included in its one of a kind box! Kaidoo Kids has a space themed branding which resonates strongly with kids aged 3 to 12 through the kid space ranger mascots “Kaidoo Kadets” and focuses on establishing a strong connection with them via AI generated cartoons and kid-led podcasts. Kaireka Foods exports its products from India to the US and currently sells via Amazon and its own DTC website www.kaidooeats.com. Kaidoo Kids was launched in 2024 by Avinash Saraf, a Cornell graduate, who has lived and worked in the U.S. for 5 years and is based in Mumbai, India.

Role Description:
The CEO & Founder of Kaidoo Kids is seeking a dynamic Co-Founder with expertise in offline retail distribution of packaged food and a passion for building and leading brand communities. This role requires someone with extensive experience in marketing consumer products, particularly to mothers, and driving offline retail partnerships in the U.S. This individual will be instrumental in
scaling the brand’s presence from online sales via Amazon to establishing distribution in major U.S.
retailers like Walmart, Whole Foods, Albertsons, Safeway, Kroger, Target, Trader Joe's etc., with a potential start in smaller regional chains.
As the Co-Founder, you will also lead grassroots marketing efforts, working directly with mom groups, schools, and mom influencers to build an authentic, engaged brand community. You will be the face of the brand in the U.S., embodying the values of Kaidoo Kids and connecting with our core customer base of moms. The ideal candidate is a mother herself, with a strong understanding of the challenges and needs of other moms, making her a trusted advocate for our products.
This is a proper Co-Founder role, where you will shape the direction of the company, it’s marketing,
product, and operational strategies. You’ll work closely with the Founder to refine and adjust our path as we expand beyond online sales and into the U.S. retail space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategy for offline retail distribution in major U.S. chains (Walmart, Whole Foods, etc.) and regional stores.
  • Lead offline marketing activations, collaborating with mom groups, schools, and influencers to create an engaged community around the brand.
  • Represent Kaidoo Kids as the face of the brand, creating authentic connections with our core audience of moms.
  • Collaborate with the Founder to refine marketing, product, and operational strategies.
  • Drive initiatives to build strong, lasting relationships with retail partners and ensure seamless execution of distribution plans.
  • Pursue PR opportunities with publications, podcasts and other media outlets
  • Potentially contribute to digital marketing efforts, if experienced, enhancing our online presence to complement offline growth.
  • US Operations – handling retail distribution, exploring alternate manufacturing at the right time
  • Fundraising - collaborating with the Founder to fundraise a Pre-Seed/Seed round of funding from angel investors / VCs

Qualifications:

  • Experience in U.S. offline retail distribution, ideally in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of building and marketing consumer products
  • A mother, with a passion for connecting with other moms and being the face of a family-centered brand.
  • Track record of having been a Startup Founder is not a requirement but an added bonus
  • Based in the U.S., with an understanding of the local retail and consumer landscape.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with offline marketing activations, such as events with mom groups and schools.
  • Experience in digital marketing is a plus, but not required.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with the founder to evolve business strategy.

Kaidoo Kids and Choco Comets have the potential to become the next Larabar, which scaled to $55
million in Revenues before being sold to General Mills. Our product is unique in its nature and
packaging, and the brand has a strong focus on establishing a strong connection with kids via AI
generated cartoons of its space cadet mascots. If our mission “Fueling Imagination Through

As you will be a Co-Owner, this is not a paid role - an equity split would be mutually discussed and decided upon as part of a Co-Founders Agreement. Investment would be welcome, but is not a pre-requisite for being considered. This is a Full Time role as the Founder is committed Full Time to the company.
