DAZN Advertising is the advertising division of live sports OTT service DAZN. The Advertising Strategy Manager role will be responsible for the strategic approach of the Global Sales team from the creation of go-to-market media & sponsorship packages to proactive brief responses. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic output of the Global Sales team, working very closely with the Agency & Brand Direct Sales teams to maximise revenue from DAZN inventory across multiple rights and territories. You will be responsible for making event or right inventory more appealing to brands and assist the sales team in answering briefs from agencies or brands direct, connecting DAZN to the brand’s strategic objectives and formulating creative concepts with the creative teams.

As our new Advertising Strategy Manager, you'll have the opportunity to:
- 6-8 years experience working in sports media within a creative agency, media owner or social platform.
- Extensive understanding of the sports rights landscape including rights IP usage & sponsorship restrictions.
- Strategic leadership within the sports, media, social and content verticals.
- Confident presenting multi-platform content executions to budget holders & decision makers.
- Proficient in the creative process, managing specialists to ideate & produce compelling content concepts.
- Extensive understanding of content formats & platforms and influencer network.
- Exceptional people management and communication skills.
- Experience of working with multiple internal teams to deliver premium output.
You'll have:
- Responsible for the strategic output of the Global Sales team in London including creation of sales materials in presentation and video format.
- Working with VP Global Sales, Head of Agency Sales and Head of Brands Direct to create a strategic sales approach for the fiscal year, highlighting areas of growth and opportunity.
- Working with market strategy leads to understand nuances of each market to develop multi-market responses to briefs.
- Creation of event or right-based packages for Sales team to take to market
- Development of media-based responses to brand or agency briefs.
- Creation of proactive sales materials demonstrating relevant insights and understanding of brand objectives.
- Management of strategic & creative process following briefing, ensuring proposals are delivered time-efficiently and deliver against brand objectives.
- Working closely with Team Whistle resources in New York & creative teams i London to ensure successful ideation & campaign delivery.
- Driving recognition of DAZN in the sports industry through external PR &award entries.
