Venture Fellow - Cimate Tech

Nodes is a Zurich-based global transaction firm that specialises in Biotech & Emerging sectors (including climate tech)/

Following the continued success Nodes Advisors has experienced in providing technology driven Research to institutional investors, VCs and Corporate companies, our Research team is looking to hire additional venture fellow to help with our significant growth plans in the coming years.

Meeting the challenges of a changing climate requires new materials and processes for how we produce, move, store and use energy.

We are looking for Venture Fellows with a strong interest in climate tech investing and a background in the material sciences, chemistry, or sciences. Nodes Fellows will work as a team to execute in-depth analysis into a companies are working to mitigate the most severe consequences of climate change while building the backbone of our economy for decades to come.

The Fellows will create an investment thesis based on scientific rationale, sciences soundness and commercial attractivness. In addition, regular meetings will incorporate an informal curriculum presented by leaders within our organization to explore the intricacies of drug development, deal dynamics, and the world of venture.

We are looking for candidates who can commit approximately 10 hours per week for the full calendar year 2023.

Your responsibilities

Perform primary and secondary research report
Remain informed on the bleeding edge of Climate innovation and trends.
Evaluate Climate landscape, completing complex analytical projects.

Communicating research in spoken and written form.
Represent Nodes Advisors publicly to a wide range of audiences: technical, business, and academic.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, MD/PhD candidate or post-doctoral fellow in the biological or materials sciences or chemistry
• Demonstrated record of scientific rigor and curiosity
• Passionate about climate and sustainibility
• Enjoys working with a team to synthesize large volumes of information and communicate clearly
