With our product launch imminent, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time HR Specialist to support our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate HR professional to contribute to a revolutionary startup and share in its success through equity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HR roles, particularly in recruitment, talent management, and employee relations
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employment regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience in a startup environment or FinTech industry is a plus
- Familiarity with remote work dynamics and virtual team management
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the company's growth and culture
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and career development
- Assist in building and maintaining a positive company culture that aligns with DERA’s values and mission
- Collaborate with executives to identify staffing needs and workforce planning strategies
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, especially in a remote working environment
- Manage employee records and HR documentation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices

*Important: *This role is part-time and compensated solely with equity for the first three months as we prepare for the product launch. After three months, there may be opportunities for a paid position, depending on company needs and performance.
