Risk and Compliance Intern

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote effective implementation of risk controls.
• Participate in compliance checks of the company’s ISMS (Information Security Management System) and PIMS (Privacy Information Management System).
• Work on research initiatives on cutting edge technologies and regulations, like generative AI, medical devices, data protection.
• Assist in maintaining compliance records (e.g. reports, etc.).
• Develop, track and maintain action plans for the resolution of issues identified during assessments and audits.
• Assist in conducting third party tool and vendor security assessments for new and existing vendors.
• Assist in compliance education, awareness and communication program for the Company.
• Assist in proactively monitoring, escalating and working towards addressing vulnerabilities and threats
• Participate in other allied and associated compliance-related activities.
• Track security and privacy best practices globally and recommend actions and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Final year (or just completed) Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
• Successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree with a major in law, engineering or other similar degrees
• Knowledgeable about information privacy and security and regulatory compliance
• Knowledgeable about Generative artificial intelligence and regulatory readiness
• Interest to work in a digital health product based organisation
• Good organization, communication and on-time task completion abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills to support the day-to-day activities of the team and build relationships with the extended organization
