OneFin is a technology credit platform - we are building the operating system for financial services. We have built modular, plug-and-play APIs to help our partners originate, underwrite and collect loans from end customers. In a highly credit underserved country with rapidly increasing smartphone adoption, we are enabling any company to become a fintech company through our suite of APIs and regulatory layer, and helping build customised financial products for “Middle India” and its 360 million customers - for consumption based use cases, upskilling / education financing, medical financing, etc. OneFin has helped serve ~14 lakh individual loans and facilitated loan disbursal and collections worth ~10,000 Cr Rs cumulatively.

About OneFin team
We are a fast growing young team of ~50 driven people with engineering, credit, banking and data science backgrounds. Our founding team consists of ex Goldman Sachs investment bankers with 30+ years experience. OneFin is a Y Combinator backed startup and has financial backing from other prominent Silicon Valley investors like Khosla Ventures, Vy Capital etc.

Experience: 1+ years of experience in recruitment, HR operations, people management. Analytical skills are a must.

Job Description:

People Management
Work with management team and company CEO and/or Director to strategically plan HR initiatives that will boost employee morale and output
Work with management to understand employee feedback and shape and drive human capital policy as per company’s evolving needs
Monitor employee progress and stay in sync with and nurture company morale and culture, ensure it stays positive and productive
Regularly meet employees of the company across geographies and discuss progress reviews and assessments, and discussing any problems or grievances they may have
Promote positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues
Regularly educate employees on company policies and change benefits, health plans, retirement plans, etc as and when required
Conduct performance review of team members as per company policy

Recruitment
Manage in-house talent acquisition team as well as third party talent acquisition vendors
Sourcing, calling, interviewing and scheduling interviews with managers, offering and onboarding
Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
Execute all training procedures for new employees
Understanding of pertinent labor laws
Recruitment for the firm will be more geared towards engineering / developer profiles and business profiles, so experience in the same would be helpful

Finance
Payroll processing
Process monthly PF, PT and other labor compliance

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Master’s in HR or related field will be preferable
Proven experience in recruiting and people management, and deep understanding of full recruitment life cycle. Should have experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
Should be proficient in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) and various HR software programs like HRIS
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Honest, ethical, dependable, positive, go-getter attitude
Experienced in mediation and conflict resolution processes
