About the role:
It's an amazing time to join K Health! Help us close nationwide care gaps by delivering Virtual Acute Care to patients in need. We are looking for full-time Clinicians who will provide fully remote text and video based, on demand acute care to our millions of users. The ideal candidate has multiple state licenses, ideally 10+, but we may consider fewer if you have anycombinations of (NY, NJ, CT, CA, FL, GA, PA, or TX). You will be responsible for building trust and maintaining strong relationships with our patients, representing K Health while providing world class remote care. You must be board certified in Emergency Medicine Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and be comfortable practicing acute care. Work from the comfort of your own home and deliver care to those who need it the most. Backed by K Health's cutting edge Clinical AI Platform patients will access care using our Medical Chat AI visit intake, making their visit intent clear from the start, allowing you to address your patient’s chief complaints easily and efficiently. Our first of its ind virtual clinic is supported 24/7 by a dedicated team of Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support staff helping to greatly reduce your administrative burden. This is a Full Time position that will require a minimum 32 hours a week, nights and weekends only.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide text-based and video-based, comprehensive clinical care that encompasses urgent care including behavioral health
- Educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans for their health needs
- Prescribe medication and refills as appropriate
- Elevate remote care; provide compassionate and meaningful care
- Think on your feet to devise creative solutions to problems that arise or escalate, as appropriate
- Perform against challenging goals with a best-in-class team for the efficiency & quality of work
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of post residency work experience
- 15+ State licenses or a lesser combination that includes (NY, NJ, CT, CA, FL, PA, or TX)
- Board-Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Experience working remotely in an Urgent Care / Acute Care setting
- Should be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and have telemedicine experience
- Clean background and medical malpractice history
