We're building a company to tackle some of our biggest social problems through a mix of creativity, inclusiveness, and intelligent software. We want to change how people, organizations, supply chains, and governments measure and manage positive social impact, sustainability, environmental social governance (ESG), and meaningful work. We're looking for a thoughtful, technical, data-driven, and high-attention-to-detail Sustainability Associate who can support Brightest and our clients with:
- Being a subject matter expert and advocate for Brightest's products, services, and solutions in Australia and throughout the Asia-Pacific Region
- Helping to guide organizations through carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, and other Brightest consulting and software needs and workflows to help them achieve their sustainability and ESG objects
- Answering, managing, responding to, and resolving client questions and issues
- Providing consulting, advice, troubleshooting, and issue resolution around customer needs related to use of our ESG and sustainability software platform
- Working closely with our Sales, Business Development, Client Success, Account Management, and Product teams to support new client needs, including implementation and migration support
The right candidate for this role should enjoy working with software and data, hold their work to a high standard, and be a great team and client-oriented problem solver.
It's also a great opportunity to learn and become an expert in ESG (environmental social governance), sustainability, and social impact - themes that are gaining increasing cultural relevance and mindshare among companies.
Who you are (what we're looking for):
- 2-5 years of business development, consulting, sustainability, environmental, client success, and/or account management experience
- Passion for social impact, environmental sustainability, ESG, and climate action
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Multi-lingual candidates who are fluent in English and also able to speak other languages is a plus
- An interest in building a career in sustainability
- You're social, patient, caring, a thoughtful communicator, and you know how to support and maintain a high-quality customer relationships
- You're coachable, organized, and self-disciplined. You're not afraid of monthly goals, new challenges, and learning opportunities
- Entrepreneurial mindset: eager to advance through clearly defined learning and earning paths, or resourceful enough to create and invent your own
- Hubspot software experience is a plus
- You pay attention to detail and hold high standards for yourself and the quality of the work you deliver
