Who are we and what we are looking for:
Lief is a rapidly growing social-care SaaS startup based in the UK. Through our software offerings, we’re bringing radical change in a traditionally paper-centric industry. Our users save an average of 10 hrs per week thanks to our technology; time which can be better used towards their core function of caregiving. We’re a fully remote, distributed team since our inception, with offices in London and Bangalore.
We are looking to grow our lean product team with people who’re interested in building socially impactful products and shaping the culture of Lief.
We’re looking for someone to be a part of our business development team and handle sales, marketing and partnerships. The person will be directly responsible for ensuring Lief reaches as many end users as possible. While doing so, the person will also optimise the internal processes to maximise the revenue pipeline. As the face of the organisation, the person will represent Lief in meetings with the customer organisations and conferences.
What you will be doing:
If you’re successfully hired for this role, you will be taking up the following responsibilities among others:
- Collaborating with co founders to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Conducting market research to prioritise target audience and to create sales & marketing collateral
- Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the residential care home industry
- Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers
- Negotiating and closing deals with new customers
- Collaborating with the product and design teams to develop and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals
- Representing the company at industry events and conferences
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and changes to identify new business opportunities
- Providing support to existing clients to maintain and grow business.
- Growing the business development team
What you’ll need to bring to the table :
- Proven track record of leading sales and marketing to acquire new customers in the UK
- Experience in SaaS sales
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop long-term sales strategies to achieve company goals
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with potential clients, present complex solutions in an easy-to-understand manner, and negotiate deals
- Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Technological proficiency: Familiarity with sales and marketing technology tools, such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems and marketing automation platforms, to streamline sales processes
Good to have :
- Understanding of and experience in the UK social care industry
