Responsibilities
To understand the alternate investment space and work with founders and other senior management to define product strategy; Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes to build an actionable product roadmap
Own product lifecycle from idea, design, research , competitive analysis, positioning, roadmap, development, go to market, launch and success
Prioritize and plan features for development. Come up with a prioritization framework suited to company needs and balancing impact vs effort
To improve user retention and engagement
Build strong customer empathy and incorporate same while working with UX and Design teams
Understand industry complexities and processes and adapt for different customer segments
Define metrics, dashboards, workflows for monitoring and evaluating success
Data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying opportunity areas and contributing to the product roadmap
Work with cross-functional teams (like Engineering, Design, Sales ) to create and implement a decisive product plan from product development to actual production.
Communication: Should be able to articulate your thoughts and ideas, communicate with key stakeholders (which includes technical and business teams across the organization) and leverage those discussions to translate business requirements to the engineering team

Requirements
3+ yrs of Product Management experience in B2C consumer facing product
Familiar with agile product development processes
Ability to work independently and drive product with minimal direction
Thrive in a start-up environment: love dealing with pace, changing needs, and limited resources
Collaborative approach with clear communication
Good analytical and problem solving skills
This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, ability to do user research to create compelling consumer narratives.
Numbers driven mindset - get behind the numbers to understand what they mean Hands-on approach and a willingness to roll-up one's sleeves and get the job done
Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically including the ability to formulate data-driven and result-oriented decisions
This role requires hustle, a strong bias for action and demonstrable experience in prioritisation- we have to move from 1 to 10 and 10 to 100 quickly
Preferred: Fintech experience
Preferred: Experience leading a product team
Preferred: Technical understanding / knowledge of our tech stack is a plus
Preferred: Tried building your own startups from the ground-up
Preferred: Studied at a top engineering or B-school
