Job Description
(Fully Remote position)
PERKS is looking for an innovative, ambitious, and forward-thinking Sales Development Representative. This person must have great instincts to help our operations team land successes. Keep in mind, this is a pioneering role - which means we will be relying heavily on you to create the pathway for advancements to achieve results for the organization as a whole. This opportunity can eventually allow you to grow your team. We need someone who is creative, highly skilled in sales, and has a great track record of lead generation.
You will report to the COO and be responsible for developing and executing our corporate outreach and sales pipeline with the help of our leadership. As well, you will collaborate on decks for each deal with the design team and assist/lead with pitching PERKS to prospective clients through demo presentations. You will source leads and contacts with help from the marketing team and continue to develop lead funnel strategies and direction on target companies.
What you’ll do:
Perform a high volume of activity in prospecting, setting appointments, and generating qualified leads for our operations team
Prospecting and outbound sales functions
Vet inbound and outbound leads
Utilize sales technologies such as social selling and automation tools (Hubspot, Stripo Email) to proactively generate and convert leads
Serve as an essential part of our sales development lifecycle
Open and set appointments for operations team
Prospect and determine potential customers, leads, and vendor partners
Maintain relationships with top executives and HR leaders as prospective clients
Must-Haves
Have 1-2 years of experience opening/closing sales
Have 1-2 years of B2B or SaaS sales experience
Email marketing experience - develop email sequencing strategies and copy, some of which will include personalized videos and demos
Is ambitious with a go-getter mindset that will motivate you to convert inbound leads and generate qualified outbound leads
Have experience or familiarity with a CRM
Have experience with social selling, prospecting, or utilizing a sales automation tool
Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in any field, or equivalent experience
Motivated and hungry for growth!
Nice-to-Haves
Have experience selling Human Resources (or related) technologies
Marketplace or e-commerce experience
Compensation
$50k base and $60k commission + equity
