Frontier is on a mission to make hundreds of millions of critical frontline workers superhuman through a hardware and software AI voice wearable. The company, which is headquartered in Chicago and in stealth mode, has multimillion dollar contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense and just raised $5.3M in funding from tier 1 investors, including the first investor in Oculus. It has an extremely talented and ambitious team committed to building a foundational company.

Mira builds lightweight AI glasses that act like a second brain. They help people remember conversations, get answers in under a second, translate 60+ languages, and surface useful context in real time—all through a private display and without a camera. We’re a small team of engineers and builders in San Francisco working across wearable hardware, real-time AI, waveguides, low-latency systems, and privacy-by-design. Audio is converted to transcripts rather than stored, and users control their memories and data. We’ve shipped our first batch and are scaling the product from prototype to reliable consumer hardware. If you want high ownership, fast iteration, and the chance to shape how people interact with AI in the real world, we’d love to meet you.
