At Ramona Optics, we are developing a new patent-pending gigapixel microscope that can capture cellular-scale resolution (5-10 µm) in 3D over an entire 100 mm diameter Petri dish. This unprecedented resolution/field-of-view combination opens up a new horizon for high-throughput, non-invasive imaging of the motion, behavior and activity of unconstrained organisms. Our microscope acquires high-resolution gigapixel images (with 1 billion pixels) in a single snapshot.
