About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Content Writer Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong command of written English, a passion for storytelling, and an interest in creating engaging, informative, and audience-focused content.
As a Content Writer Intern, you will work closely with the marketing and content teams to research, write, edit, and optimize content across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Research industry topics, trends, competitors, and target audiences to develop relevant content ideas.
Write clear, engaging, and original content for blogs, websites, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.
Assist in developing content calendars and brainstorming new content ideas.
Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, tone, consistency, and accuracy.
Optimize content for SEO, including keywords, headings, meta descriptions, and readability.
Repurpose existing content into different formats and platforms.
Collaborate with the marketing, design, and social media teams to support content campaigns.
Stay updated on content marketing, SEO, social media, and industry trends.
Incorporate feedback and make revisions to improve content quality.
Maintain consistency with the company's brand voice and communication guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
Ability to research topics and present information in a simple, engaging manner.
Basic understanding of SEO and digital content writing is preferred.
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Canva and AI writing/research tools.
A portfolio of blogs, articles, social media posts, academic writing, or other relevant work is an advantage.
