About the job
Founder's Office Associate
Location: Bangalore
Working closely with: Leadership team
About the role
This role is about keeping things organised, moving and getting things done. This is an assistant role working closely with the Co-founder to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. From coordinating with teams and managing follow-ups to handling tech-related tasks and analysing data, the goal is to take ownership and turn instructions into execution.
The role goes beyond traditional administrative responsibilities. It involves understanding problems, working with different teams, following up on commitments, analysing data and taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.
You'll work across product, technology, data and business operations, helping coordinate with people, track ongoing work and ensure tasks don't fall through the cracks.
Some days will be structured. Others will involve figuring things out as they come up. The ability to adapt, think independently and get things moving is what matters.
What you'll work on
Depending on what's happening, you could be:
- Driving execution: Tracking pending tasks, following up with team members, identifying delays and ensuring commitments are met.
- Coordinating across teams: Keeping communication clear, tracking dependencies and making sure everyone knows what needs to happen next.
- Meetings and follow-ups: Scheduling meetings, tracking decisions and ensuring action items translate into actual outcomes.
- Data and analysis: Working with spreadsheets, reviewing business metrics, preparing reports and turning raw data into useful insights.
- Research and problem-solving: Researching tools, investigating issues and presenting practical solutions.
- General execution: Taking up ad hoc tasks, figuring out the next steps and driving them to completion.
What makes someone a good fit
- Takes ownership and follows through without needing constant reminders.
- Is comfortable coordinating with people, asking questions and following up on commitments.
- Thinks logically and can break down unfamiliar problems.
- Is comfortable with technology, spreadsheets and AI tools.
- Communicates clearly and works well with different teams.
- Is organised and can manage multiple priorities without losing track of details.
- Knows when to solve something independently and when to escalate it.
- Learns quickly and is comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change.
A technical degree or extensive work experience isn't a prerequisite. Curiosity, sound judgement, initiative and the ability to get things done matter more.
What success looks like
Tasks have clear owners and deadlines. Follow-ups happen without being prompted. Meetings lead to action. Blockers are identified early, and issues are brought forward with context and possible solutions.
Over time, day-to-day coordination becomes smoother, teams spend less time chasing updates, and the leadership team has better visibility into what's happening without needing to track every detail personally.
What you'll get
You'll get exposure to multiple areas of a SaaS business, from product and technology to data, operations and business decisions.
You'll work on real problems, take ownership of meaningful responsibilities and have the opportunity to grow into a role with broader operational responsibility as the business evolves.
If you enjoy solving problems, working with people and turning plans into execution, this role could be a great fit.
